Hello Friend! Wishing you a beautiful Sunday full of rest and renewal. I have been bursting all week to tell you about my last Sunday!

Do you remember last week, when I was writing, the wind was full of vigor, and I wondered where all the kites were this windy season? Well, let me tell you… Sunday night, I finished cleaning the kitchen after dinner and asked my husband to accompany me to take out the trash.

Nearing the trash bins, I see a bright white string going from the ground of our side yard up to our ficus bushes. I put the bag in the bin and go to pick up the string. I ask my husband, ‘What is this string here?”

“Oh yeah. I saw that earlier.”

“Well, why didn’t you pick it up?” I ask as I pick it up and start pulling and keep on pulling. And I keep pulling in more string. I start laughing and say, “This is not ending. What is this?”

My husband comes closer and points at a big tree we have in our backyard. “It goes all the way to the tree.”

I am still laughing because pulling a surprise infinity string in the dark on your side yard is actually funny. My husband is laughing too because I am there pulling more and more string out of nowhere, it seems. We are both cracking up like kids when he squeals, “Look! It’s a kite!”

“What?! Where?!”

“Behind the tree. Up there, look! The string is from a kite. It’s coming up behind the tree. The kite must have been on the ground out there, and the wind picked it up as you are pulling the string!”

“Where? Where? I don’t have my glasses.”

“There!”

And I feel the string go loose and then rise and go taut. The kite was up, flying up high from behind the tree, and I was holding it! I could see a shimmer of wings because of the moon and the street lamps. I heard the swoosh and then a flapping. We went quiet in our surprise, and then both laughed with so much innocent joy.

“Help me bring it over the tree so it doesn’t get stuck again,” I tell him.

“Yeah, yeah, I can do that.” He takes hold of the string further up from where I am holding it, maneuvers it over the tree, and hands it to me. I let it fly a few minutes more.

Slowly I pull the kite down.

“Just yesterday, we were talking about kites and how you missed them this year. This always happens to you. Heaven has so much care in granting your wishes.” My husband says to me kindly, as we walk inside, me holding a black and white kite and wads of tangled string. “Yep!” was my happy eloquent answer.

How wonderful it was.

This reminded me once again that I am a Serendipist.

Serendipist: one who finds valuable or agreeable things not sought for.

I am open to good and goods offered by the Universe. All presents are welcome.

I believe in the law of attraction as I believe in the law of gravity. I think it is along the lines of karma with its cause and effects or intent and actions law. I believe in faith. I believe that when I relax and open my heart, I let the Universe align everything that harmonizes with my energy. I believe in that because I have seen it happen over and over.

When I just take care of how I feel, things always turn out better than I could have imagined. Oh- and I am convinced the Universe has a sense of humor because it all happens in whimsical or funny ways. What could be at the end of a bright string near the trash?

There is magic all around us. Yes, there are also all the other situations we are keenly aware of. But let’s not forget there is also Serendipity and Love of Living.

All my love and the best of vibes to you.

May you find a lovely surprise this week.

Militsa
