About the Author

Militsa Cuevas is a voracious reader since the age of 5 with a tendency to fall in love with books and beautiful sentences. She is the type who upon reading something beautifully profound, holds the book to her chest and gazes out in amazement. It is a bit awkward with the iPad. But they give it a go anyway.

For more than fifteen years she has been the author of countless dutifully ignored or controversial Memos as vice president of operations at a prestigious beauty school. She has a master’s degree in the ever-hopeful field of Human Resources Management.

A Quiet Thought newsletter is her initial stepping out into the publishing world. The articles are part of her yet unpublished book based on the musings in her journals. Militsa lives in Cayey, Puerto Rico with her husband, son, and three brilliant German Shepherds.
