Hello dear Friend. I have been thinking big ideas and small whispers of thought. My intention is to put them into my writing, but I can’t seem to create any coherence out of it. There is so much I want to tell you about. In the meantime, I sit with this-
Let’s remember that we are kind.
As such, we are allowed to be kind to ourselves.
from a place of kindness within,
share your kindness with others.
When we act from a precise place in our heart, it will color everything we do. If we chose from a place of kindness, the result could be masterful.
I could be kind to myself in so many ways (and you too):
Sleep enough for my body to have rested well.
Eat well enough to nourish my body.
Massage my weary feet in gratitude for carrying me all day.
Forgive anyone who, in my mind, has messed up royally for the sake of my own heart’s peace.
Forget anything that can only serve me bitterness in the present.
Hold my beautiful aging face, in front of the mirror, with utmost love and respect. Be happy to see it smile, yet for another day.
Pace myself in everything I do. I want to enjoy the day, not get through it.
Do more of what I love to do and minimize what must be done.
Throw myself into what resonates with passion within me. Be happy to have it, hold it tight, and fly with it to see where it may lead. Who I might grow into.
From this place of kindness, I think I could be better at:
Leaving an open space of kindness before me for anyone who comes in contact with me.
what a simple way
to tell another
that there is love
to be found
in the world
May you show love to the world.
